I Knew we should have phoned first.   Walked to the Red Lion, super pub, but only does filled rolls. Nice landlord. So had an excellent pint and helped ourselves to some pork pie that was on the bar along with cheeses and biscuits. I hope it wasn;t the lunch of the big bloke with cauliflower ears that was sitting in the corner. !!!! ?X @.

Nice. Moved Trundle up to Great  Haywood and went to another pub for lunch. We swapped a good mifi signal at Little Haywood for a BBC1 signal at Great Haywood.  Weird.

Today, Monday, we have moved up the canal towards Stone, and we had forgotten how beautiful this canal is.  It is about 4 years since we were up here. So a lovely rural mooring.. for a couple of nights.

We are changing the fitments on our louvred windows. The old ones are brittle and we have a set of new ones. 2 per pane of glass.  The first one took us 40 mins. And a couple of lost screws in the drink.  But Mick had a brainwave and today we have done 5 panes in 30 mins. So 2 actual windows done and 6 more to do about 36 panes. !!!!
Re; Airhead Compost Toilet for anyone interested.  I had a rummage about with a stick and have added 2 handfuls of coco bean shell, and think we have plenty of weeks to go yet, before emptying.  In the book its says “ empty when 2 inch from the top “ !!!!!  we have planty of room then.

Have had good weather, but now its getting windy with a possibility of RAIN. !

 Little Haywood

Shugborough Hall, we knocked on the door for a cuppa, but there was no-one "at home"

This lot getting in a pickle at the junction.  3 boats will not go under one bridge at one go. !!!!

 I'm Stuffed !!!!!
